SPAMMING
POLICY |
Spamming is not tolerated at U-Turn Internet,
therefore this policy needs to be put in place in order to deter those who wish
to engage in it. U-Turn Internet itself may be billed for spamming
violations of its customers, therefore needs to protect itself.
U-Turn Internet Services Ltd. (hereafter "U-Turn Internet")
monitors its accounts for spamming daily. Any customer found to be spamming,
spamming defined solely by U-Turn Internet, will be subject to immediate
termination or suspension of services with no possibility of refund allowed and
be subject to the following:
Customers shall not use U-Turn Internet's
services to transmit unsolicited e-mail messages, including, without limitation,
unsolicited bulk email, where such emails could reasonably be expected to
provoke complaints ("spam"). Further, Customers are prohibited from
using the service of another provider to send spam or to promote a site hosted
on or connected to U-Turn Internet. In addition, Customers shall not use U-Turn Internet
in order to (a) send e-mail messages which are excessive and/or intended to
harass or annoy others, (b) continue to send e-mail messages to a recipient that
has indicated that he/she does not wish to receive them, (c) send e-mail with
forged TCP/IP packet header information, (d) send malicious e-mail, including,
without limitation, "mailbombing", (e) send or receive e-mail messages
in a manner that violates the use policies of any other Internet service
provider, or (f) use an e-mail box exclusively as a storage space for data.
If a person or entity participates in spamming,
or any activity related to spamming, the Customer agrees to pay a penalty of
$800.00 (U.S. Dollars) for each violation in addition to any damages caused to U-Turn Internet
or its providers and the Customer fully acknowledges and authorises U-Turn Internet
to debit any credit card said amount for each violation.
