 AFFILIATE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
|
In order to take part in U-Turn Internet's affiliate programme, you
must understand and accept the following terms and conditions:
- Five months/three months free web
hosting package is based on the Small Biz Plan only.
- Free affiliate credits earned
covers the cost of web hosting only - not domain registration
services or any other service offered by U-Turn Internet.
- Only one free hosting package is
to be awarded per person referred. For example, if person
A refers person B, and person A is awarded a free hosting
package, if person B then cancels and signs up again using
another (or the same) referrer, the referrer will not get a free
hosting package.
- U-Turn Internet reserves the
right to discontinue the affiliate program at any time without
prior notice or penalty.
- If a customer signs up with
U-Turn Internet and then cancels their subscription, they cannot
then rejoin and be used to gain more affiliate credits.
- The affiliate must not take any
means to try and trick the affiliate system. Any evidence
or suspicion of this, the affiliate credit will be null and
void.
- If an affiliate refers a customer
(by any means) and then the customer quits before five months,
U-Turn Internet reserves the right to deduct the remaining
months from the affiliate's accreditation - regardless of the
reason for leaving.
- If for any reason the affiliate
signup is not completed (regardless of reason), and the
affiliate credits have been issued, all affiliate credits will
be revoked.
- A completed signup is required
for all U-Turn Internet Service's divisions also. Until
all fees are paid by the customer, the affiliate will not be
accredited.
- You will not hold U-Turn Internet
Services Ltd. (or any of its employees, divisions, partners,
contractors or affiliates) responsible for any loss of income
that is cause either directly or indirectly from the use of
U-Turn Internet's services.
- If a dispute of an affiliate sale
arises, what constitutes an affiliate sale or the amount
accredited will be determined solely by U-Turn Internet.
- U-Turn Internet is under no
obligation to accept any given customer as an affiliate or
customer. U-Turn Internet reserves the right to refuse any
affiliate or any customer for any reason, without any obligation
of communicating that reason.
Although utmost care is taken to
ensure the reliability of the affiliate programme, it is
acknowledged and understood that the tracking system used to track
affiliate referrals is imperfect.
- The tracking system used to track
affiliate referrals uses cookies, and is not 100% reliable.
- Some browsers will not accept
cookies.
- Some visitors using
cookie-blocking software will not be tracked.
- The tracking system will not work
with all users.
- The tracking cookie expires after
365 days.
- The tracking cookie may be
manually deleted by the user.
- The user needs to be using the
same machine and browser.
- Anything entered into the
affiliate box upon signup automatically overrides anything using
the cookie tracking system. For example, if person A first
visits U-Turn's site through person B's site, but person C
recommends person A signs up, person C will get the full
commission/credits and person A will not receieve any
commission/credits.
- Only the initial referrer is
logged. For example, if a future U-Turn Internet customer
clicks on a link to U-Turn's site from person A's site, then a
couple of weeks later he/she clicks on a link to U-Turn's site
from person B's site and then they sign up, person A (the
initial referrer) will get the affiliate credit. If person
A is not an affiliate, no commission will be paid. If
however, a customer types in person B's name into the affiliate
box during signup, the full affiliate credit will go to person
B, and person A (whether they are an affiliate or not) will not
be paid.
- Affiliate signups only work if
signed up online, unless the affiliate name is mentioned.
The utmost care is taken to help
ensure all affiliate credits are correctly given. However, if
you feel there has been an error, don't hesitate to contact us
through the helpdesk.
U-Turn Internet reserves the right
to change the above terms and conditions without prior notice or
consent.
