Personal Information/Storage/Sharing

Information that a person provides to U-Turn Internet Services Ltd. (hereafter 'U-Turn Internet') when placing an order, which may contain personal information (including usernames/passwords for old service providers), is not shared with anyone outside of U-Turn Internet. Your e-mail address will not be revealed to anyone outside of U-Turn Internet without your consent.  

You understand however, that when registering a domain name through U-Turn Internet, your e-mail address may be accessed by the public through the whois database and you will not hold U-Turn Internet responsible for this.

Any credit card information provided is stored securely.  Your credit card information may be stored with a trusted third party, such as PayPal, DPS, Kiwipay or Worldpay. Your personal information may be stored on an online server.  All credit card information kept online is secured by state-of-the-art encryption.  If any of your information is stored online, U-Turn Internet will take reasonable precautions to secure your information.

Cookie Use

This site uses small files (called 'cookies').  Our cookies are used principally to track affiliates and referrals, and to assess the efficiency of our website and to make your browsing experience more personal.  Cookies on this site cannot and will not be used to gather your personal identity.

Usernames/Passwords for Old Providers

If a free site transfer service is requested, it is necessary that U-Turn Internet has access to the customer's username and password for the old provider.  This is because U-Turn Internet staff have to log into the old account in order to access the website's files.  When this occurs, your username/password will NOT be shared with anyone, and the username/password will not be used for any purpose, after the initial purpose for which it was obtained has been carried out.  If any customers wish to still transfer their site, but do not wish for U-Turn Internet to have access to their passwords, they can still transfer their site over, although they will need to do this themselves.  Full instructions will be provided.
