INTERNATIONAL DOMAIN ORDERING

Do you want to order a country-specific domain?

You can have one!  U-Turn Web Hosting will host if for you - just like any other domain.  Whether you just couldn't get an international domain (like a .com, or .net), or you want a particular country-specific domain (like .se for Sweden) for your website, Summit Hosting's servers are specially set up to handle any domain.

What You Need to Do

If you want to register an international domain not listed, the process is simple.

1) Register the domain name you want by going to your desired country's 'registrar'.  A list of active registrars can be found at:

http://www.norid.no/domreg.html

The average price for an international domain is around US$50 per year.

2) For any domain you order, anywhere in the world, you should be able to change your 'nameserver'.  This 'nameserver' is what points your domain to U-Turn's server, so you can operate your website from that domain name.

  a) Log into your 'domain management' for the domain you just registered.
  b) Change the 'nameservers' to:

        Primary Name Server:  ns1.uturn.net.nz
        Primary Server IP:  69.93.249.187
        Secondary Name Server: ns2.uturn.net.nz
        Secondary Server IP:  69.93.249.188

3) Join U-Turn.  Order any hosting plan you'd like!  After you've done steps 1 & 2, no special action is necessary.

If you're already a member of Summit Hosting, and you'd like your international domain to mirror your existing domain, just set up a 'parked domain' from your cPanel control panel.  If you'd like your international domain to be a whole new website, simply signup for another hosting plan (make sure you use a different username as you're signing up).
