The PayPal Ordering Process Explained

PayPal uses a professional-looking 'shopping cart' style of ordering.  When a shopper wants to order something, they click 'add to cart' (which adds the item to PayPal's shopping cart), and when they're finished with the order, they click 'checkout' and enter in their credit card details.  The order is then sent to you, and the customer is billed accordingly.

With PayPal, 'subscription' payments are available - this means you can offer monthly/yearly etc subscriptions for your services, and PayPal will charge your customer's credit card automatically on a recurring basis.
