Special note for Xtra Customers – In October 2006, Telecom
Xtra decided to block outgoing mail from external mailservers in an effort to
stop spam (called ‘port 25 filtering’). What this means, is you’ll have to use
‘smtp.xtra.co.nz’ for your outgoing mail settings. The alternative is to contact
them and opt out of this arrangement.
